Growing up, Darren was a blonde haired blue eyed wild child. During his youth in Minnesota he could be found playing with his sister Jillian and enjoying the 4 seasons which the northern state has to offer. Darren played a few years of basketball as a kid, but found his true passion was computer sciences when his mom, Georgia, brought home a computer. Once Darren learned how to program and create websites he was in business, literally. He started earning money at an early stage in life because of his knowledge of computer programs. His family then decided to trade in the cold winters of Minnesota, for the desert climate of Palm Desert. Once he graduated high school, he decided to attend technical school and pursue his passion for computer programming. There he graduated top of his class and entered the programming world professionally. His career which started in the Palm Desert area relocated him to San Diego (lucky me!). He has made a name for himself in the tech industry and works as a software engineer. He enjoys going to the movies, spending time with his mom and planning for a bright future. His adult beverage of choice is margaritas, he could eat Italian or Mexican food every day, and needs his morning coffee to get through the day. He has a big heart and is a great cat and dog Daddy to Mo, Maple and Hazel. He is my superman. Not only is he actively planning our wedding with me, he just bought a house in San Diego, working full time and is finishing up his bachelor’s degree in software development so he can pursue his goal of being a distinguished software engineer someday. He does all this with a smile on his face, a positive attitude and a loving spirit. I could not be luckier to be able to spend the rest of my life with this amazing man. – KC
